Este jueves, 2 de febrero Montería se une nuevamente a la iniciativa del Día sin Carro, será la octava jornada que se realiza en la ciudad y de manera simultanea con otras capitales en el país. Recuerde que desde las 6 de la mañana y hasta las 6 de la tarde no podrán circular carros ni motos"
Es un día propicio para utilizar transportes alternativos como la bicicleta o trasladarse caminando, según sea su preferencia; igualmente se podrá hacer uso del servicio público de buses y taxis.
El Día Sin Automóvil fue originalmente una iniciativa para desincentivar el uso del automóvil, al ver que su uso a gran escala está produciendo daños en el medio ambiente. En dicha jornada se hace un llamado a los ciudadanos a dejar este medio de transporte por un día y probar nuevos medios de desplazamiento.
La Institución Educativa Liceo La Pradera se une al Día sin carro y sin moto, como una iniciativa para conservar y descontaminar nuestro medio ambiente.
